As the mobile healthcare provider to our communities, MEMS takes responsibility of community safety very seriously. To this end MEMS conducts programs that reach into the community to help prevent and respond to medical emergencies. This is done by teaching such classes as CPR, Stop-the-Bleed, AED and others to groups and individuals.
Through the use of community education and training, we help the public be better prepared to respond in case of emergency. Additionally, our Mobile Integrated Healthcare Program uses Community Paramedicine to help identify and manage the healthcare needs of “at risk” individuals in our communities in order to prevent that 911 call.
