Paramedic School
Metropolitan Emergency Medical Services (MEMS) is the only EMS provider in Arkansas offering a comprehensive in-house paramedic training program through a strategic partnership with the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College. This collaboration delivers accredited, college-level paramedic education right here in Central Arkansas.
MEMS paramedic students don’t have to juggle work, life, and school. Instead, they are transitioned from field duty into the classroom full-time, while continuing to earn their EMT salary. This paid education model allows students to focus entirely on their training, setting them up to become some of the most skilled and confident paramedics in the state
To be considered for the MEMS Paramedic Program, applicants must have at least two years of employment with Metropolitan EMS, have completed all required prerequisite coursework, and meet the admission criteria for the University of Arkansas – Pulaski Technical College.
