MEMS EMS Academy is accredited by the Arkansas Division of Higher Education and offers EMR, EMT-Basic, and EMT-Advanced programs.
Through our partnership with UA–Pulaski Tech, we also offer an in-house paramedic pathway — giving you a clear next step when you’re ready to advance. You’ll learn what you need to pass, and what you need when it actually matters.

Quarterly Grand Rounds bring employees and partner agencies together for 8 hours of focused, real-world training each quarter:

Each session is built around real scenarios, evolving best practices, and the kind of decision-making you don’t get from a textbook. Topics change every quarter, so you’re not sitting through the same death-by-PowerPoint — you’re building on what you know. You’ll reinforce clinical skills, sharpen critical thinking, and earn hours toward your NREMT recertification.

MEMS is the only EMS provider in Arkansas offering an in-house paramedic pathway through our partnership with UA–Pulaski Tech, delivering accredited, college-level education right here in Central Arkansas.
You don’t have to juggle work, life, and school. Selected employees transition from the field into the classroom full-time while continuing to earn their EMT salary.
